Domicil Online is created and run by Louise Thomasen from coThomasen. This privacy policy will explain how personal data is collected and used, when you use the Domicil Online website.
What data is collected?
Domicil Online collects the following data:
- Personal identification information (Email address, and name when you setup an account)
- You can enhance your domicil with additional personal identifiable data such as address, telephone numbers etc. It is not obligatory for you to supply this information, it is completely optional, and the information will not be used outside your domicil in any way.
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Domicil Online with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online.
- Develop your domicil.
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
Domicil Online may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- Our data analytics service “Matomo”, which is a Google Analytics alternative, but run completely on our domain. Our Matomo service protects your data and privacy and does not share data with anyone outside the Domicil Online domain.
How will we use your data?
Domicil Online collects your data so that we can:
- Process and manage your account.
If you agree, Domicil Online may share your data with third part companies so that they may offer you their products and services. This is done when you view a page with “embedded” external content, such as a YouTube video.
How do we store your data?
Domicil Online securely stores your data at our hosting provider Simply.com. Simply.com’s data and infrastructure are located at multiple data centres in Denmark. You can therefore be sure that your data remain within Denmark. Simply.com’s data centre supplier is responsible for the physical framework such as power, cooling, fire extinguishing and access control and they have stringent checks in place to ensure that their subcontractors comply with applicable security regulations at all times.
Domicil Online will keep your account and domicil data as long as you have an account. Once you delete your account, your domicil or data within your domicil, your data will be deleted from the website, but will exist for 30 days on full website backups.
Marketing
Domicil Online will not send you marketing information.
Domicil Online respects "Do Not Track"
In most browsers, you can turn a "Do Not Track" setting on. If Do No Track is enabled, the browser tells the website, that you do not wish to be registered. Have you turned this setting on in your browser, the Matomo analytics will not register your visit.
What are your data protection rights?
Domicil Online would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request Domicil Online for copies of your personal data. You may be charged a small fee for this service.
